We produce: We offer end-to-end solutions for full scale productions and events from concept creation to execution. We provide all AV equipment, solutions, talent sourcing and choreographing necessary for such productions and we also do the designing, lighting, staging and directing with the help of our partners
We host: Our warehouse hosts in-house performances starring Sima Dance Company or school students and is available for rental for shows, product launches, screenings, workshops, events, photoshoots & more…
We dance : Sima Dance Company rehearsals take place at Sima Performing Arts and our professional dancers lead all types of dance and performing arts programs. Please check our exciting schedule of in-house performances showcasing our home-grown talent in many art forms.
WHO WE ARE
Located in the heart of UAE’s art scene in Alserkal Avenue, Sima Performing Arts is an exciting, innovative warehouse studio and performance space offering a thriving hub of activity for professionals, communities and art-loving audiences. Masterminded by founder, artistic director and choreographer Alaa Krimed, Sima designs and stages theatrical productions by combining our creative team, an extensive range of state-of-the-art AV, lighting and sound equipment and our own dancers to create a complete artistic experience and engaging live events. Our performances are produced in-house or in collaboration with other brands and clients.
Sima Performing Arts is home to Sima Dance Company, a pioneer in the exposure of contemporary dance in the UAE and a leading performance company across the Middle East with a growing international reputation. Founded in 2003 by Alaa Krimed, Sima Dance Company has built a strong community of local and international dancers, grown exciting collaborative partnerships and continues to receive recognition for their efforts through many accolades such as the winning title of MBC’s Arab’s Got Talent.
Investing in excellence and home-grown talent development, Sima Performing Arts also provides extensive training opportunities through performing arts workshops for all ages and abilities. Led by professional company dancers and collaborating artists, Sima offers the community access to high quality arts practice.
Our warehouse, as home of Sima Dance Company, hosts many new and unique performances which are made by the company for the space. Workshop students also have the opportunity to perform classes choreographies and showcase their progress in our school shows. We bring the community a beautiful inspiring space to further engage with companies through events, talks, screenings, workshops and more.
